Sneak Preview:
“It’s fair to say it’s been a topsy turvy season so far, so my hope is that everybody at the club, the players, the staff and the supporters take as much encouragement from Tuesday night’s performance at Morecambe as possible.
By no means do I feel we were the finished article and of course I am fully aware that there are improvements still to be made. But the intensity that the boys produced across the board at the Globe Arena which is a tough place to go, was exactly what we had asked of them.
My major concern following our game here last week against Accrington was the way we came out after half time, as we wanted to be back on the front foot again. We didn’t do that last Saturday, conceded two goals in a seven or eight minute period which completely changed the complexion of the fixture.
However, on Tuesday I felt we started and ended the first half well, started the second half well and we ended strong, which meant all in all we deserved the win.”
Also in this week’s edition are interviews with Ryan Donaldson, Chairman Dave Doggett, Chief Executive Jez George, a feature with the Man behind the Microphone on match day at the Abbey Tom Horn, 100 Years of Coconuts and much more!
